Enligt den ursprungliga planeringen skulle v\u00e4gen \u00f6ppnas f\u00f6r trafik h\u00f6sten 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Motorv\u00e4gen genom H\u00e4meenkyr\u00f6 har rustats upp genom konstruktionen av en 10 kilometer l\u00e5ng str\u00e4cka med dubbla k\u00f6rbanor med fyra k\u00f6rf\u00e4lt. V\u00e4gen har 3 plankorsningar och 11 broar. Infrakit har varit en del av implementeringen genom hela projektet, \u00e4nda fr\u00e5n designstadiet till plats\u00f6vervakning och kvalitetss\u00e4kring.<\/p>\n<p>Den nuvarande genomsnittliga dagliga trafikvolymen p\u00e5 avsnitten l\u00e4ngs l\u00e4nken p\u00e5 riksv\u00e4g 3 \u00e4r mellan 2 500 och 16 900 bilar per dag. \u00c5r 2040 ber\u00e4knas den genomsnittliga dagliga trafiken \u00f6ka till mellan 2 800 och 24 700 bilar per dag. Andelen tunga lastbilar i den totala trafiken varierar mellan 6 % och 16 % (Vayla.fi).<\/p>\n<p>Projektet har utf\u00f6rts av finska Trafikverket och kontrakterats av Destia. Det nya v\u00e4gavsnittet kommer att minska restiden mellan Helsingfors och Vasa och f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra trafikfl\u00f6det och s\u00e4kerheten p\u00e5 motorv\u00e4gen.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">Stora infrastrukturprojekt kr\u00e4ver omfattande planering<\/h3>\n<p>Bra planering \u00e4r en viktig faktor f\u00f6r att undvika f\u00f6rseningar i schemat. Den digitala plattformen har effektiviserat designprocessen.<\/p>\n<p>Kartor och 3D-modeller tillg\u00e4ngliga f\u00f6r alla planerare har visat hur planerna fortskridit.G\u00e4llande \u00f6vervakning, kan Infrakit anv\u00e4ndas f\u00f6r att kontrollera behandlingen och noggrannheten av data. Detta g\u00f6r att arbetsfortskridandet kan \u00f6vervakas n\u00e4stan i realtid. Dessutom kan exakta data j\u00e4mf\u00f6ras med de designade ytorna och niv\u00e5erna enligt strukturella toleranser.<\/p>\n<p>Digitalisering och effektivisering av informationsfl\u00f6det p\u00e5verkar beslutsfattande och uppf\u00f6ljning och bidrar avsev\u00e4rt till f\u00f6rm\u00e5gan att h\u00e5lla deadlines.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">Smidig kommunikation p\u00e5 plats minskar f\u00f6rseningar<\/h3>\n<p>Att svara p\u00e5 utmaningar och f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar och fatta beslut under projektets g\u00e5ng \u00e4r avg\u00f6rande f\u00f6r att h\u00e5lla schemat. Under byggnadsarbete genereras enorma m\u00e4ngder data p\u00e5 plats och att kunna organisera och dela dessa data p\u00e5skyndar arbetet avsev\u00e4rt.<\/p>\n<p>Med insamlade data \u00e4r det mycket l\u00e4ttare att bygga upp en bild av situationen och f\u00f6lja arbetet. The original plan stated the commissioning would take place in the autumn of 2023.<\/p>\r\n<p>The highway through H\u00e4meenkyr\u00f6 was upgraded by constructing a 10-kilometer dual-carriageway section with four lanes. The road has 3 level crossings and 11 bridges. Infrakit has been part of the implementation throughout the whole project. All the way from the design stage to site supervision and quality assurance.<\/p>\r\n<p>The current average daily traffic volume (ADT) on the sections of Highway 3 along the link is between 2 500 and 16 900 cars per day. By 2040, the average daily traffic is projected to increase to between 2 800 and 24 700 cars per day. The share of heavy goods vehicles in total traffic varies between 6% and 16% (Vayla.fi).<\/p>\r\n<p>The project was built by the Finnish Transport Agency and contracted by Destia. The new road section will reduce travel time between Helsinki and Vaasa and improve traffic flow and safety on the motorway.<\/p>\r\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">A major infrastructure project requires extensive planning<\/h3>\r\n<p>Good planning is an essential factor in avoiding schedule delays. This allows the progress of work to be monitored almost in real time. In addition, accurate data can be compared with the designed surfaces and levels according to structural tolerances.<\/p>\r\n<p>Digitizing and streamlining the flow of information influences decision-making and follow-up. This contributes significantly to meeting deadlines.<\/p>\r\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">Smooth communication on-site reduces delays<\/h3>\r\n<p>Responding to challenges and changes and making decisions during the project are essential to staying on schedule. Huge amounts of data are generated on-site during construction, and organising and sharing this data considerably speeds up the work.<\/p>\r\n<p>The collected data makes it much easier to build up a picture of the situation and monitor the work. Decision-making is also easier when there is sufficient contextual data and facts to back it up.<\/p>\r\n<p>The Infrakit platform allows users to upload orthophotos as map images, on which plans can be visualized. This makes it easy to see that roads, lines and structures have been built where they were designed on the site. This helps to monitor the implementation and progress of works such as pavements, road markings and finishing and surfacing works.<\/p>\r\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">Sustainable development reforms infrastructure construction industry<\/h3>\r\n<p>Sustainability is also evident in the development of roadworks. The H\u00e4meenkyr\u00f6 project has had a strong focus on the reuse of construction materials, which the Finnish Transport Agency supports with renewed sustainability guidelines. Infrakit is part of this trend. Improved information flow and more efficient use of resources will bring savings in used materials and energy.<\/p>\r\n<p>Costs can be cut by using recycled materials. This also saves natural resources and allows waste to be recycled instead of simply being landfilled.
